One of my favourite distress inks
Poor photos today i’m afraid. I took a snap of my road sign, so good they named it twice! If you look closely at the right hand side you can see some blue tiles on the wall with the road name on and then they put up a sign too! Random.
I drove along the harbour this evening to see the waves. There weren’t many, yet, but the sea is humpy!
That is a technical nautical term i’ll have you know! Well at least when I worked at sea if it was humpy we knew there would be seasickness….ahhh those were the days……
Didn’t she just?
Last night.
Never mind her great big jewel, her dress was so sparkly. Great concert, must download ‘Sing’, love Gary Barlow even more now. Lovely service this morning too.
I also used sparkly letters for my week of project life.
Nice smudgy stamping there I have only been using that date stamp for 22 weeks now.
Our town (Ilfracombe) joined in with the jubilee today
We have a huge hill/cliff right on our seafront which has a huge swathe of grass that is kept nice and short for people to sit on. For the celebration they cut E11R 2012 into the turf and rang the bells for the community to walk down and park themselves on it and then peeps with better cameras than mine would take photos of us spelling it out.
Well, that was the plan, unfortunately the bells didn’t ring, we thought they were taking the photo at 1pm and they took it just before we got there! I suspect with it being so slippy that as soon as it was full they took the shot as they were all walking down from the letters before we got there!
You can just see the little ants all up there ( and the, um, gates of the bandstand).
I am glad they did it, I was so sorry we missed it as I was in the tip of S when we spelt out Sport Aid when that happened in 1986. My kids love it as now Lauren and Louis are at the college they come across random photos of me and the Sport Aid one is in the library (should it not be in the Sports area!).
Happy Birthday Anne, sorry it is so late to get round to this, it has been a mad afternoon and evening at work
I wasn’t isolated yesterday! It was the wedding of my friend yesterday and it was absolutely beautiful. Everything went off very well. The reception was in a really isolated part of North Devon that I didn’t know was there.
The bride or had you guessed that?
My friend’s corsage.
The bouquet. I know you know that too.
The table decorations which I adored.
The rings, there is a pattern to this description lark!
The lovely view and gardens In The Distance.
And this ladies is as good as it gets for me lol.
What a great day
