Woven.

I have a new years resolution to learn how to crotchet. Well I may have shown you the chain I made when I was on retreat, it pretty much stopped there. I mentioned it to Mum the other day and she has started it for me to get the hang of it and then help me!
As she said my Granny would have said of me my yarn and thread skills make me look like "a cow handling a musket". So true!!

  1. I haven't done any in ages and I think I only ever got as far as squares or stripes, but always preferred it to knitting which made me all tense! Janice who I follow on my blog has got into it of late and her blog shows some great pics of other people'sverybright blankets.. have a look .. http://childhooduninterrupted.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/babette-balls-up.html xxx

  3. "a cow handling a musket" ? I would have loved your grandmother. Mine had this kind of humor too. I can knit really nice but you should see my work at crochet. I start at 20 cms wide and after 40 rows, I am either on 30 or 10 cms wide. Pure disaster, lol.
The color is very pretty and I love the quilt behind.

  4. I'd love to be able to knit OR crochet. I just can't do it quick enough!! I'd be like a cow wearing boxing gloves handling the musket!
