Matched Pair.

Firstly I must say that I wish I had a matched pair of eyes, all I can say is that I have some wierd matched pair of sore almost eczema type patches on mine which I am sure is a direct result of getting in and out of bed so much the past few days Open-mouthed smile Don't worry that isn't the photo, you can read on!
Secondly, sorry for being missing in action so much this past few days. A combination of being on nights, and having to be up on days for end of school things and sadly attending the coroner’s inquest into my brother’s death which you may remember happened in April. I have tried to take photos and on the whole have managed, just one day to catch up on. It has been horrid not having my daily fix of visiting your blogs and commenting. Sorry Thumbs down. I will catch up tomorrow evening, when I think I will have worked a day shift and have the evening off!
Thirdly, one of the nice things to happen today has been to spend a few chilled moments after work this evening (which was again an hour after I had wanted to leave!) I stood still in the peace and quiet at the far end of the car park looking at the remnants of the light on the horizon (not bad for 22:45) and using my iPhone app of the night sky to capture this matched-ish pair Smile How nice to have had the Sun.

A real big highlight today was Ali’s graduation ceremony from Infants School as he leaves and moves onto the Junior School in September. Cry much? Oh yes. Mum and I have been going to the Infants School for ten years with Lauren, Louis and Alex and it such a nice school. Anyway, I took a zillion photos, but I haven’t looked at them yet, let alone edit them, so I will share that tomorrow.
Sorry again for being missing in action, Anne & Kathi, Red roseThanks so much for checking in on me Smile

  1. Dearest Jenny I am up early after bed far too early last night and after a blues day yesterday, read your blog. I now feel ashamed for feeling as I did yesterday,

Well done on the night sky and another new beginning in Sept too :)I remember the end of Primary school when my youngest left having had nearly 14yrs with the same village school!

I had forgotten about the loss of your brother earlier in the year, maybe I hadn't been reading your blog then? (((hugs)))

  2. Dear Jenny, accept my most sincere condolences for the death of your brother!
In Sinemorets, where my family rest during the August - the night sky is very clear - Ursa Majo can be seen with the naked eye. It is wonderful!
    Congratulations on your idea!
    Be strong.
    hugs

  3. Hi Jen,
I have a sky app on my phone too and when the sky is clear (lol) we love looking at stars. That's my second big love after clouds.
We all get busy busy at times, as long as we know you are OK that's all that counts.
And if it is the 11th again, no problem AT ALL don't you worry about it. xxx

  5. Sorry to read about the bad time you have been having.
I remember all the times my children moved on in school, very difficult times as it showed how they were growing up so quickly.
